Support the implementation of the IMF-WB Annual Meeting, the Government Regulates 222 Ships

CIDISS. The government will control hundreds of fishing vessels operating at Benoa Fisheries Port, Bali. It aims to succeed in the implementation of the 2018 IMF-World Bank Annual Meeting.

The Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs held a meeting on the matter. Present were representatives from the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries and the Ministry of Transportation.

After the meeting, Deputy III of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Ridwan Djamaluddin, revealed that the demolition would be completed before the IMF-World Bank Annual Meeting in October 2018. According to data there were 222 ships at the Benoa Fisheries Port. We want to be neat before the event.

He said, the government also learned from the incident in July 2018. At that time, a fire struck the Benoa Fisheries Port, burning 43 ships at a time.

He said, of the 222 vessels operating and leaning on the Benoa Fisheries Port, some of them were ex-foreign vessels that were not operating. We do so that the port is safe and neater.

Control of 222 vessels at Benoa Fisheries Port is a preventive step from the government to minimize matters that could disrupt the implementation of the 2018 IMF-World Bank Annual Meeting in Bali, which certainly could harm Indonesia. Therefore, with the adoption of the policy, it is expected that the implementation of the 2018 IMF-World Bank Annual Meeting in Bali will be safe and successful.
