Appreciating the Government for Maintaining Political, Legal and Security Stability During 2021

The public appreciates the Government for being optimal in maintaining political, legal and security stability throughout 2021. This success is expected to continue in the following year, so that it can become the main capital for the sustainability of various development programs.
The government continues to respond to various Polhukam issues wisely and wisely, so that various problems can be resolved effectively and efficiently. The situation of Polhukam is also considered to be better than in previous periods because the group that usually spreads incitement has been officially disbanded.
Reflecting on the past, various political issues often dominate. Despite being able to handle it well, it still leaves seeds of instability that must be watched out for in the coming year. One aspect of Polhukam that stands out is the bombing case in Makassar. As is known, this bomb exploded at the Cathedral Church on March 28, 2021 ago. At least the police have named 53 suspects in this case.
On the other hand, the government or the state has taken a hard and firm stance against the Armed Criminal Group (KKB). Around the beginning of May 2021, the joint police-TNI troops were deployed to Ilaga, Papua to disable the KKB to make Papuan security conducive.
The greatest pride of the joint military forces of the Indonesian National Police and the Indonesian National Armed Forces is that they are still able to succeed in the running of the XX 2021 PON. Even though they must continue to struggle to paralyze the KKB. Even PON was able to be held lively and so lively.
At the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, the TNI-Polri were still working hard against the KKB, as well as hunting down suspected terrorists in remote areas. This collaboration and hard work attitude has in fact produced results that make hearts tremble with reports that the Covid-19 spread rate can be suppressed. Next, another political aspect is finding the presidential candidates for 2024.
The allegation of the seeds of instability from last year (2021) seems to have continued into the following year. How could that be? The assumption is that it remains only to observe the performance of the National Police’s Anti-terror Detachment 88 in the range until the end of 2021. At least these troops have arrested up to 370 people suspected of being terrorists. In fact, the troops also confiscated 2,000 charity boxes from a preventive operation in Lampung.
This achievement certainly shows the quality of performance that is quite capable. So that 2022 will be a momentum for recovery in the Polhukam aspect. Moreover, all potential must continue to be minimized along with the costs, according to Bambang Soesatyo as chairman of the MPR RI.
In line with these achievements, vigilance will continue to be increased as well, ahead of the G20. Where Indonesia was chosen as the host of the conference. So, there will be many guests to heads of state in Bali at the end of 2022 (next October).
Based on experience, important agendas like this are enough to invite the focus of criminals or terrorists. Forums with a summit level seem to be a shortcut for terrorists to achieve popularity and publication.
However, the government has definitely emphasized that the TNI-Polri and all government officials will minimize the threat. Even with all elements of society who must be aware of the seeds of this crime. So that when state troops move to eradicate terrorists, the public understands and understands that this is an effort to enforce the law.
In addition, the intention to close the space for movement or access for terrorists is a shared responsibility. Because, even though these suspected terrorists still have the status of seeds of instability, even though they have not carried out their actions yet. However, if the omissions continue, it will certainly threaten the country’s future. Therefore, this risk must be carefully considered by all parties.
These efforts must get a deep appreciation from Indonesian citizens. Gratitude alone may not be enough if you look back. However, in the period of 2021, we must remain very grateful and fully support the government’s role in maintaining the stability of the Polhukam.
Especially before this new year, hopefully all plans so that the country’s dreams can be realized perfectly. The community is also expected to continue to increase synergy with the government so that Indonesia is more advanced and lives in prosperity, as well as being safe from various disturbances and threats.
