Is It True Habib Rizieq Is Blocked?

News of the alleged ban on Habib Rizieq Shihab (HRS) has become an issue that has surfaced in recent days. In the video, HRS also showed cursory letters allegedly as a ban recommendation. This raises suspicion why the letter was only shown ahead of the planned Reunion 212 because HRS has been in Saudi Arabia for a long time.

The 212 reunion, which is planned to be held in December, is rumored to be attended by Habib Rizieq. The head of the 212th Reunion Committee, Awit Mashuri, said that his party was seeking the return of the High Priest of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) Habib Rizieq Shihab to Indonesia, so he could attend the 212th alumni grand reunion at Monas Square in early December.

They still suspect that Habib Rizieq has not been able to return to the country because of the alleged banning request from the Government of Indonesia to the government of Saudi Arabia.

In a show on the Youtube Front TV channel, Habib Rizieq claimed he could not return to Indonesia because he was banned by the Saudi Arabian government at the request of the Government of Indonesia.

However, to date there is no evidence that Habib Rizieq Shihab was banned by the Indonesian government. The Coordinating Minister for Politics, Law and Security, Mahfud MD, again spoke about the High Priest of the Islamic Defenders Front Habib Rizieq Shihab who claimed to have been banned by the Indonesian government.

Mahfud, who is a law and state administration expert, explained that for laws in Indonesia, the time limit for a person’s ban is a maximum of 6 months. So Rizieq’s statement did not prove that the ban was issued by the Indonesian government.

We all know, based on Rizieq’s confession in various media, he has been banned for a year and a half. Of course this indicates that the ban is not from the Government of Indonesia, because the maximum limit of blocking in Indonesia is 6 months.

If the ban is from Saudi Arabia, of course it must be resolved by the Arab government. Mahfud also stressed, if indeed the ban was proven by the Indonesian government, he was ready to help resolve it.

Mahfud also requested that the FPI High Prize ban letter be sent to his office. The former Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court also questioned the truth of the letter, because he claimed that during his tenure as Coordinating Minister for Politics and Security and Security, he had never seen a ban on Habib Rizieq.

He also stated that he would first find out whether or not there was a letter. He also said he would check the problems that occur in the bans.

Previously, the Indonesian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia also provided clarification on the accusation of the ban, that Habib Rizieq had overstayed, and if he wanted to return to his homeland, he would have to pay a fine of around Rp 110 million, after paying a fine if there were no legal issues. that befell him, he can leave Saudi Arabia.

Even HRS once flew to Morocco for some purpose and was able to return to Saudi Arabia, this proves that if Habib Rizieq wanted to go home, he could use the opportunity to fly directly from Morocco to Indonesia. While the case of cancellation to Malaysia for the dissertation exam was solely a matter of HRS with the Malaysian Government, it had nothing to do with Indonesia.

Logically, for what Indonesia is blocking the return of Habib Rizieq, after all he went to Saudi Arabia on his own initiative. If the detention of Habib Rizieq in Saudi Arabia was an intervention of the Indonesian government, then what is the legal basis for governing the Arab kingdom to detain Habib Rizieq?

If that happens, of course Habib Rizieq can bring this matter to the courts of Saudi Arabia because the Saudi authorities do not have a solid basis to hold Habib Rizieq from returning to Indonesia.

Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Faizasyah questioned Rizieq’s statement which stated that the Indonesian government seemed to be interfering with Saudi Arabian authorities. According to Faizasyah, every country in the world certainly does not want to be intervened by other countries, because every country clearly has different regulations / rules of law.

Yet if it is true that there is an intervention from the Government of Indonesia related to its blocking, then Rizieq Shihab could have lobbied the Saudi Arabian government so that it could be free from banned efforts.
